صابر صاحب نے جہاں 35 سال لالہ عیسیٰ خیلوی کے ساتھ فنی خدمات دیں وھاں صابر صاحب کی دُھنوں کو بھارتی موسیقاروں نے بھی کاپی کیا۔ صابر صاحب نے نہ صرف گیتوں غزلوں کی کمپوزیشنز کیں بلکہ پنجاب کی ثقافت کو بھی اپنے سازوں میں  زندہ رکھا۔ لالہ نے اپنی آواز سے اور شعراء نے اپنے کلام سے اپنی ثقافت کو مداحوں میں  پوری محبت سے پیش کیا۔
